Feed the Good

A gratitude journal.

Updated July 18, 2024 (version 1.8.4) | Tested with PHP 8

A free gratitude journal plugin for WordPress. It keeps your gratitude entries separate from your regular blog, and gratitude posts are private by default (but you can make them public if you want).

Here’s how it works

After activating the plugin go to Gratitude Journal -> Moods and create the different moods that you’ll choose from while creating each entry.

Now you’re ready to start writing!

You can use hashtags while writing your entry, and they’ll be converted into tags or “gratitudes” once you save. Over time, you’ll see what you’re most grateful for on your admin dashboard.

You should also select your mood each time you post to track that on your dashboard as well.

The post title will default to the current day’s date to save you from having to come up with a title. If you’re keeping a journal, this usually works well and is faster.

If you need inspiration you’ll notice a prompt at the top of the post editing page.

Finally, in the settings you can set up a daily reminder email so you remember to log what you’re grateful for.

Feed the Good improves your mental well-being, and it’s FREE.
