Data Collection and Storage
LinkedBase is designed with privacy as a core principle. This extension:
- Stores all data locally on your device using Chrome’s local storage API
- Does not send any data to external servers
- Does not collect personal information
- Does not track your browsing activity
- Does not use analytics or tracking services
What Data is Stored
LinkedBase stores the following information locally in your browser:
- Text highlights from LinkedIn posts
- Tags you assign to highlights
- Notes you add to highlights
- Author names (extracted from LinkedIn posts)
- URLs to original LinkedIn posts
- Dates when highlights were saved
Data Access
- All stored data is only accessible to you on your local device
- Data is never transmitted over the internet
- No third parties have access to your data
- Data can be exported or deleted at any time through the extension’s settings page
Data Deletion
You can delete all your data at any time by:
- Going to the extension’s Settings/Options page
- Clicking “Delete All Data”
Alternatively, you can uninstall the extension, which will remove all local data.
