Data Collection and Storage

LinkedBase is designed with privacy as a core principle. This extension:

  • Stores all data locally on your device using Chrome’s local storage API
  • Does not send any data to external servers
  • Does not collect personal information
  • Does not track your browsing activity
  • Does not use analytics or tracking services

What Data is Stored

LinkedBase stores the following information locally in your browser:

  • Text highlights from LinkedIn posts
  • Tags you assign to highlights
  • Notes you add to highlights
  • Author names (extracted from LinkedIn posts)
  • URLs to original LinkedIn posts
  • Dates when highlights were saved

Data Access

  • All stored data is only accessible to you on your local device
  • Data is never transmitted over the internet
  • No third parties have access to your data
  • Data can be exported or deleted at any time through the extension’s settings page

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by:

  • Going to the extension’s Settings/Options page
  • Clicking “Delete All Data”

Alternatively, you can uninstall the extension, which will remove all local data.
