Thanks for not a lot of fish, 2025

Thanks for not a lot of fish, 2025

It’s Christmas Eve Eve. 2025 has been a hard year for me. I hesitate to say that, because I’ve been thinking it for a few years in a row now.

It’s been hard because I’ve been searching for stable, quality employment, and because so many things have gotten more expensive. Plus, there always seems to be something wild a government or billionaire is doing that makes me stop and scratch my head.

This isn’t a complaint post. I’m grateful for the hard times.

They’ve pushed me to focus on hobbies, family, and building real strength overall. Being unemployed toughens you up a bit. That’s what I’m saying.

Good things are coming in 2026. I’ll find stable work, keep improving my projects, and continue watching my kids grow. With a little extra luck, I’ll keep improving myself too.

If you’re going through a rough patch, remember it’s just that. A patch. It’s temporary. All things pass.

If you’re looking for an easy way to make org charts, I built ourorgchart.com.

If you want to help me build up a new resume database, there’s theresumedatabase.com.

If you’re looking for positive links, that’s upviber.com.

And if you need an iOS app to help you remember things, search for Neurosist.

I’ll see you in 2026.
