I recently experimented with ChatGPT to see how quickly I could write a short book. I’m aware that some people are using ChatGPT to write entire books, but I’m not sure if it’s ethical, legal, or even possible to copyright a book written with AI. I believe that the answer is complicated, which is why I have no current plans to sell a book even partially written with AI.
However, I was curious to see how quickly I could put together a short book with this technology. I was surprised to find that I could do it within a few hours or less! The results are attached to this post. It’s a book about moderation written by ChatGPT, with some small edits by me.
